Ivy Hung is a music producer, composer, a cappella artist and singer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Composition from University of California, San Diego (Minor in Vocal) and Master of Arts Degree in Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
In 2019, Hung participated in the music production of a local documentary film Wai Sing. Not only did she write the theme song for the documentary, she also composed all music elements in the documentary film. Besides assisting in different music production projects, she has composed and arranged for different organizations and occasions such as the MYO x Chet Lam Son of Kowloon Music Journey, ICC Light and Music Show and TVB Caritas Star Studded Charity Show. After returning to Hong Kong in 2016, she immediately started working at Hong Kong renowned composer, Yin Ng’s music production company. Artists that she has worked with include Hins Cheung, Chet Lam, Joey Yung, Lowell Lo and SIS etc. Hung has also worked with different theatre companies in their music production works such as Yat Po Singers, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Dance Company, The Only Stage, Asia Society Hong Kong Center etc.
Hung is also active in the local scene as a singer. She has participated in numerous jingle singing, backup vocal and demo singing projects. In addition, she also takes part in singing-teaching. In 2018, she was the lead singing coach for the True Light Girls’ College 45th Anniversary Musical Casting, which she coached a cast of 40 actresses.
