Luo Yanjin

Luo is an active harpist, composer and conductor in Hong Kong. After obtaining Master of Arts in Music (Dean’s List) in 2022 , she pursued further study in the Master of Music in Composition program under the supervision of Professor Chan Kai Young at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Luo played both western and Chinese instruments since young, including harp, pipa, piano and violin, which giving her unique exposure to both western and Chinese music. She has studied composition under Professor Chan Kai Young and Professor Victor Chan as well as conducting under Ms. Carmen Koon. Luo is currently serving as the Resident Composer and Conductor of the Youth Chinese and Western Orchestra.
